Thu Jul 23	2026 Team Party Ida Lee Pool (A.V. Symington Aquatics Center) Start: 6:00 PM End: 8:00 PM UPDATED: Join us for the 2026 Team Party at Ida Lee Pool (A.V. Symington Aquatics Center) on Thursday, 7/23 from 6:00-8:00 PM. This Bettas tradition is going to be even better this year with our sponsor, providing pizza for dinner! We will still have cake and waters as well. Please RSVP for your family to help us plan for this fun event!
Sat Jul 18	2026 Awards Ceremony Community Center Pool- Parking Lot Start: 7:00 PM End: 8:30 PM (estimated) Our awards ceremony will start at 7:00 pm tonight instead of 6. We want to allow more time for any storms/rain to move out before we start our celebration! The ceremony will be in the parking lot of the Community Center Pool on Regal Wood Drive. There will be some parking available in the lot. Anyone parking on the street be mindful of our neighbors, do not block driveways, and please park in the green areas noted on the attached map. Bring folding chair/blankets for seating. All swimmers will receive a trophy, including mini bettas, and there will be special age group awards as well. There will also be an opportunity to pick up ribbons/medals from divisionals, as well as any others leftover from the regular season. This is also the last chance to fill the gift bags for our seniors- Harper Sabetto, Angela Alcala, Wyatt Griffin, Jake Rowley and Tyler Berry. These seniors have been an integral part of this team as swimmers and coaches. If you would like to contribute, some ideas include notes from their teammates, gift cards, gas money, drawings from our youngest swimmers - anything to brighten their day would be appreciated!

This area will be blocked from vehicle traffic. The home team sets up on the west side of the parking lot and the visiting team sets up on the east side. You are welcome to use the paved or grassy area. We ask that swimmers stay in the team area and stay away from the amphitheater and playground during the meet. The clerk tent will be set up on the south end adjacent to the pool. Several large trash bins will be placed around the team areas so that we can keep the area clean. Swimmer Drop-off Swimmers can be dropped off using the circle immediately north of the team areas, or they can be dropped off near the pool entrance and use the sidewalk to access the team areas. Parking Parents are welcome to park in any space in the lot, or on the street along Founders drive. The Farm Stand will be open on Saturday morning, so we ask that swim families do not park on either side of the street in front of the stand area. Volunteering Assignments heat sheet

Sat Jun 20	Brambleton at Willowsford South Willowsford South Waves Start: 8:00 AM End: 12:00 PM (estimated) Location: 41101 Willowsford Lane, Aldie, VA 20105 Parking: Parking is available in the parking lot by the pool and along Grassland Grove Drive. Note: Do not park in the first parking lot on Willowsford Lane or directly on Willowsford Lane. There will be signage. Times: 7:00 AM: Pool deck opens 7:10-7:30 AM: Warm-ups (Willowsford) 7:30-7:50 AM: Warm-ups (Brambleton) 8:00 AM: Meet begins **Officials and Timer briefings will occur at 7:30 AM at the computer operations table at the far end of the pool deck. Team Area: Please have swimmers find their team area in our parking lot in the half-moon area (between the pool and the Lodge building). We will have someone there to show you where to set up. Seating: We ask that all spectators and swimmers keep the pool deck clear near the clerk of course area as traffic tends to bottleneck. To maintain clear sight lines and facilitate efficient meet operations, parents not working the meet as a deck official, volunteer lane timer, or other meet positions are not permitted along the far side of the pool. Further, competitors may not loiter along the edges of the pool between the timers and the starter equipment. We encourage families to bring their own deck chairs to supplement those available on the pool deck. Supervision: Parents and coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers and families and for cleaning up the team area. Please note, as a safety precaution, no swimmer or spectator is allowed in the baby pool or beach entry area of the pool before, during or after the swim meet.
