WHO WE ARE...

The Brambleton Betta Swim Team (BBST) known as "The Bettas” was started in 2004 by a group of dedicated parent volunteers who wanted to provide a community swim program for their children. We swam our first season in the Old Dominion Aquatic League “ODSL” with only 16 swimmers. Since that time we've grown to 250 swimmers and have become one of the best programs in Loudoun County.

Brambleton Betta Swim Team membership is open to any interested and qualified child, aged 5 - 18, who resides in the Brambleton Community. At this time, only Brambleton residents are eligible to join the team.

We believe in fostering both a supportive and competitive environment. Coaches are trained at all levels of the sport and are prepared to give your child the instruction they need to be a better swimmer. We believe in a team approach. Swimming is an individual sport, but supporting your fellow team mates is not only an invaluable life lesson, but also a way to create a unique and enjoyable sense of belonging. Lastly, we're passionate about swimming and hope that shows in all we do.
